Day 01: Arrival in Udaipur

Day 02: Sightseeing in Udaipur
Early in the morning, set for sightseeing in Udaipur. Udaipur is also called the City of Lakes as it houses beautiful tarns like Lake Pichola and Fateh Sagar. The former was created in the year 1362, and was named after the neighbouring village Picholi. Boating in its serene ambience is the favourite pastime of visitors, who come here. Fateh Sagar Lake was constructed a few decades later by Maharana Jai Singh, in the year 1678 and was renovated later by Maharana Fateh Singh. It is a popular picnic spot as public parks, zoo and fine diners here offer a wide range of options for both children and grownups. Afterwards, you can plan a trip to the City Palace, located on the banks of Lake Pichola. The glimpse of an imperial era can be seen at this place. The construction of this awe-inspiring beauty was started around 400 years ago, by Maharana Udai Singh II. A number of palaces and structures representing European, Medieval and Chinese styles of architecture were added by the succeeding kings. You can see beautiful silver work, mirror decoration, intricate designs on marbles and murals at the towers and balconies of this grand palace. Enjoy the picturesque view of Lake Pichola from Amar Vilas � the highest point of this structure. Later in the evening, return to the hotel and enjoy the overnight stay.
Day 03: Chittorgarh to Kota
Early in the morning, check-out from the hotel and head towards Kota � the education city of India. Kota, located in Rajasthan, is one of the popular historical cities of India. It used to be a part of the erstwhile Rajput Kingdom of Bundi. However, it became an independent princely state after Jahangir � a Mughal emperor � defeated the ruler of this region. The architectural heritage of the city includes majestic palaces, rich museums and serene temples. As you reach here, check-in at the designated hotel and take some rest. Later, proceed for a sightseeing trip to see its major attractions, which attract hordes of travellers throughout the year. The most famous of these are the Jagmandir Palace and Kishore Sagar, which are appreciated by tourists for their majestic beauty. The city also has two famous palace museums, namely Maharao Madho Singh Museum and Kota Government Museum, which house memorabilia and artefacts related to the splendid heritage of Rajasthan. The sprawling and green Chambal Garden by its namesake river is another place you must visit as it has a small pond full of crocodiles. You can conclude the sightseeing excursion by heading to the palatial Haveli of Devtajis, which is known for its beautiful frescoes and murals. Afterwards, get back to the hotel and sleep the night away.
Day 04: Kota to Jaipur | En-route Bundi
Early in the morning, check-out from the hotel and head towards Jaipur. On the way, you will be stopping for some time at Bundi � the city with a rich heritage. Bundi is known for its splendid palaces, glorious forts and stepwells. This city surrounded by the Aravalli Ranges from three sides is loved by tourists for its serene ambience. You can plan a visit to the Taragarh Fort, located in the steep hillside. It was built in the 14th century, and was quite significant in that time because of its tunnels that criss-cross the entire hillside. The Bundi Palace, built by the 19th Rao of Bundi � Rao Raja Anirudh Singh � can also be visited. Murals displaying the glorious era of the country are major attractions of this place. It also houses some of the oldest stepwells of the country, and Raniji Ki Baori is one of them. It was built back in the year 1699 on the orders of Rani Nathavatji � the queen of Rao Raja Anirudh Singh. Chaurasi Khambon ki Chhatri is another beautiful attraction of this place built by the same king. As the name suggests, there are 84 pillars supporting this whole structure decorated with intricate patterns and vibrant colours. Later on, continue your journey towards Jaipur � the regal Rajasthani city. Jaipur � the capital city of Rajasthan � is the land of natural beauty and heroism. It was named after its founder Maharaja Sawai Jai Sigh II � the ruler of the kingdom of Amber. Also called the Pink City, it is one of the first few planned cities of the country. Popular for historical monuments, it is dotted with impressive palaces displaying its affluent past. After reaching Jaipur, complete the hotel check-in formalities. You can spend the day in leisure or explore the nearby places on your own.
Day 05: Sightseeing in Jaipur
Early in the morning, set to explore this beautiful city. Amber Fort is the most popular attraction of Jaipur, set atop a cliff. This structure, built in red stone and white marble, is a perfect blend of the Rajput and Mughal architecture styles. Enjoy stunning views of Maota Lake and its picturesque surroundings from this fort. The imposing Hawa Mahal of Jaipur is another fascinating site that depicts the finest craftsmanship and architectural heritage of the Mughals. You can also plan a visit to the City Palace � a complex featuring grand courtyards, majestic palaces and numerous significant edifices. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in the early 17th century. The three entry gateways showcasing intricate carving and rich decoration are among major attractions of this place. To preserve the golden bygone era, many compartments of this palace have been transformed into art galleries and museums. You can also see the fusion of European, Rajput and Islamic styles of architecture at Mubarak Mahal. Also known as the Palace of Welcome, this structure was built as well as designed by Maharaja Madho Singh II. Come back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: Jaipur to Udaipur
Early in the day, complete check-in formalities and head towards Udaipur for departure.
